LOS CRANEOS BLACK PEARL
Where art meets Mexican Culture.
The new rarity-model “Los Craneos Black Pearl” is not dedicated to Captain Jack Sparrow’s famous ship from the “Pirates of the Caribbean” film series; instead, it pays homage to its rarity. Much like black pearls, considered relatively scarce compared to other colors, this Doubletimer emerges as a true rarity.
“Los Craneos Black Pearl” embodies a Mexican avant-garde fusion of artistic timepiece and dual time zones. In the spirit of “Art Meets Mexican Culture,” this unique model seamlessly integrates into the design concept of artist Alexander Shorokhov.
Two meticulously hand-enameled and polished skulls, adorned with black enamel, serve as the primary motif of the watch. Deeply rooted in Mexican culture, they symbolize the game of life and death. The numerous silver metal applications with pyramid-shaped, tapering heads on the matte dial add even more depth to the timepiece.
The IP-black-coated stainless steel case and the two crowns, also coated in black IP, are consistently black in design. The watch presents itself as a “Doubletimer,” featuring a date display in one time zone and a central second hand in the other.
Two hand-engraved automatic movements are visible through the sapphire glass case back. Black and white lacquered hands create contrast, while the black ostrich leather strap continues the dark design philosophy.
This artistic and elegant luxury automatic watch fully realizes its concept and emphasizes its rarity with a limited edition of only 13 pieces.
