Different sized “eyes”, worked out in very different colors, are the main concept of the dial’s composition. They are somewhat lifted from the dial and transmit a sense of joy, enthusiasm and mobility, literally dancing on the scene of the shiny dial. The side second and minute hands are also designed in the form of cheerful multicolored “eyes”. In exchange, the hour markers have monochrome yellow gold-plated small and cold-looking eyes. As different as these “eyes” are, the watch was therefore purposefully named “Crazy Eyes”.
The other elements of the dial, with their special shape and colors, complement the whole composition of the “AS – movement”, which at the beginning were not so easy to put together. Because the dial consists of several layers, many different applications and different materials such as mother of pearl, brass, illuminants and several colors. But in the end everything harmonizes and evokes a cheerful and positive emotion.
The number “60” remains where it belongs on all “Alexander Shorokhoff” watches and is also symbolic here for the 60 minutes of an hour and the up-and-coming time of the arts in the 60s. In combination with the avant-garde crazy face, a matching bracelet was created: a stingray leather strap in a striking and bright yellow color. The case also fits into the warm color scheme in a variation with a yellow gold-plated case. The familiar look with a stainless steel case is additionally retained.
