Who does not know it? One of our most successful models, the Babylonian! Fitting to the 30th anniversary of the manufactory, this extraordinary model, “AS.UNIQUEO.14 – Babylonian Unique“, may not be missing in the UNIQUEO collection. With the number 14, it gets a permanent place in the starry sky and its unique, creative representation as a single piece in our anniversary collection.
Design technically this unique piece is inspired again by the scientific discoveries of Babylonia and leads back to the discovery of the signs of the zodiac and the constellations.
On the cosmic blue mother of pearl, hand enameled with stars, you can see the Earth in the lower part of the dial. In the upper part of the dial, there are several circles where you can find the zodiac signs and Roman hour numerations. All these details are applied to the mother-of-pearl dial by hand in an elaborate process using enamel. The hour and minute indicators are painted in white to create a costrast and thus improve the readability of the time. There are even small appliques on the outer circle for the hour and minute indications.
The 39 mm case gets an IP coating in dark brown, as the color brown was often used in those days. A genuine crocodile leather strap in a light brownish tone forms a harmonious and noble overall picture to the case. Thus, the hand-enameled dial is completely in the foreground. The time driver is the SW200 automatic movement with a hand-engraved and refined oscillating weight and blued screws. With 26 jewels, it has a power reserve of approximately 38 hours.
Once again, a very special highlight of the UNIQUEO collection joins the extraordinary anniversary collection with a limitation of only one piece.
