Alarm Skeleton Tcharodey
An absolute rarity worldwide!
The new Rarity-model “Alarm Skeleton Tcharodey” is inspired by the opera of the same name, “Tcharodeyka”, composed by Pyotr Tchaikovsky. It is an enchanting opera known for its impressive music and its connection to folklore. The opera premiered in 1890 and has become a permanent fixture in the global opera repertoire.
The opera “Tcharodeyka”, also known as “The Enchantress,” tells a fairytale love story and has the power to truly enchant its audience, much like this exceptional mechanical timepiece.
As much dedication went into the skeletonized and rhodium-plated dial as into the love story of the opera. This brings the heart of the watch, namely the movement, to the forefront, revealing loving details and superb craftsmanship.
The small red hand protruding from the center of the dial serves to set the alarm time and can be adjusted using the crown at 11 o’clock. The small musical note key reminds one of the alarm’s musical function. The hour and minute hands, as well as the second hand, are blued and provided with luminescent material, allowing the time to be easily read at night.
The uniqueness of this new watch, however, lies in the hinged double case. This additional feature allows the owner of this alarm clock to have an unobstructed view of the time even while lying down and to enjoy the pleasant sound of the alarm.
The engravers at the “Alexander Shorokhoff” watch manufacture have also done an excellent job in enhancing the movement. The movement has been imaginatively engraved and skeletonized. Traditionally engraved motifs on the bridges and the guilloché work on the wheels give this small masterpiece a nostalgic flair that can be fully appreciated through the sapphire crystal case back.
With a limited edition of only 1 piece, it is a genuine one-of-a-kind!
